Emmerdale: Gabby exposed as Joe's kidnap helper

Emmerdale has revealed that Gabby Thomas helped Joe Tate kidnap Baby Tate, a shock twist that left Kim and Graham reeling. Joe's plan has finally come to light, while Thea's hospital emergency threatens to make an already dramatic situation even worse.

Joe's Plan Exposed

After waking from a restless night, Graham tells the baby to be good while he takes a shower. Moments later, a shadowy figure appears outside the window and begins trying to break into the property. Graham was then left stunned by the revelation that Joe Tate was responsible for kidnapping Baby Tate, furious that Joe had done that to his own child.

Meanwhile, at Hotten General Hospital, Kim Tate feared the fallout from her actions when a doctor insisted that the police must be called following the stabbing of DS Thea Ramsden.

Kim's Revelation

On Thursday (October 29), two huge revelations were made in the Dales as Kim finally learned that Thea was her long-lost daughter whom she gave up for adoption as a baby. It was then that Kim swore to Thea that she wasn't trying to sell Baby Tate, and that she was trying to protect him. Although Thea has been hellbent on conducting revenge on Kim, she was left conflicted over the revelation.

Joe admits that he orchestrated the entire plot after feeling betrayed by Kim and Graham when he discovered that his baby had never actually been put up for adoption. A stunned Graham picks up Baby Tate and prepares to take him home, warning Joe that “this ends here.”

Gabby's Confession

Back at Home Farm, Graham suggests that spending time alone with his baby may have helped Joe form a bond with his son. However, Joe reveals that this was actually the first time he had been anywhere near his child, admitting that Gabby helped him carry out the kidnapping.

Meanwhile, Gabby arrives at the hospital to check on Kim. When she learns that Thea has been stabbed, she breaks down and confesses that Joe persuaded her to help kidnap the baby.

Confrontation Ahead

Joe and Graham finally had an honest conversation about the events of the past few weeks, but their discussion quickly escalates into a confrontation. With tensions running high and trust seemingly shattered, the pair's relationship faces potential irreparable damage.

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1 and is available to stream from 7am on ITVX and YouTube.
