In Monday's (June 24) episode, Charity (Emma Atkins) staged an unexpected disappearance, leaving a worried Mack (Lawrence Robb) to call the police after an unsuccessful search. While standing at a lake, Charity met a stranger—later revealed to be Serena Sugden (Casey Al-Shaqsy)—and bravely opened up about her baby scandal and the sexual assault by Dr. Todd (Caroline Harker). After Serena's words appeared to get through to her, Charity returned home to speak to Mack.
Family Relief and Demand for Privacy
Charity's family was relieved to have her home safe, but she soon demanded that everyone leave the house as she needed to talk to her husband after an eventful day. This sets the stage for a potential confession about her secret surrogacy and the baby she gave birth to.
