Baby Tate has been snatched from the holiday cottage in Emmerdale, just days after DS Thea Ramsden learned its location. The baby had been placed in the care of Graham Foster by Kim Tate, who believed Joe would regret giving his son up for adoption.
Graham informed Kim of the theft, and Kim went to Ramsden for help, hoping she could trust her to keep the police out of it. As Kim headed to get some shut eye after a traumatic day, a hooded figure loomed at Home Farm, raising the question of whether Ramsden has taken Baby Tate.
Ransom Demand and Fallout
The following episode will deal with the fallout of the cliffhangers. Later, the blackmailer gets in touch and demands a ransom from the Tates in exchange for the baby. Graham returns to the cottage, and the question remains whether Thea is behind it all and whether she will reveal her true identity to Kim.
Elsewhere, Liam Cavanagh explained to Chas that he wasn't cheating with Manpreet Sharma – they were at a murder mystery convention together. Chas was hurt when Liam explained that she isn't particularly good at them and thus he didn't invite her. Later, Chas throws a surprise murder mystery day for Liam to prove that she's good at them, but Liam isn't all that enthusiastic.
