Emma Willis's future on Love Is Blind UK has been confirmed following her appointment as one of the new hosts of Strictly Come Dancing. The TV icon, 50, will continue to front the Netflix dating show alongside her husband Matt Willis, 43, while also taking on the prestigious BBC role.

Earlier this week, Emma was announced as a new presenter of the beloved BBC programme, joining Johannes Radebe and Josh Widdicombe. She steps into the role previously filled by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. The news sparked questions from fans about her involvement with Love Is Blind UK, which she has hosted since 2024. A third series is scheduled for later this year.
Netflix Confirms Hosting Continuation
Netflix has confirmed to Radio Times that Emma and Matt will remain as hosts of Love Is Blind UK. This follows the announcement that Josh Widdicombe will continue on The Last Leg on Channel 4, as it does not conflict with Strictly filming.
In a behind-the-scenes video, Emma shared her excitement: "I still can't find words because my tummy is just flipping consistently. I imagine it's how you feel when you know you've got to walk down the stairs. 'Dancing the cha cha!' and everything goes to jelly."
Josh added humorously: "I've just realised that I've been booked to present something with two of the most striking people on television, and I look like me. Absolute disaster. Emma is one of the great TV hosts of our generation, and Johannes is one of the great dancers of our generation, and I'm here as well."
Shirley Ballas Praises New Line-Up
Strictly judge Shirley Ballas, who has served for nearly a decade, expressed confidence in the new hosting trio. "I think it's absolutely brilliant what the BBC have done," she told the Mirror. "Of course, I've worked with Emma on and she's an absolute star. She's very calm, so beautiful, she keeps everything together. And there's only one Johannes in the whole world. I mean, who wouldn't want him somewhere in that trio? And I'm not that familiar with Josh, but I met him this week after Good Morning Britain and I've since looked at some of his work. I think it's going to be fresh and interesting."
