Emily In Paris to End with Sixth Season, Creator Confirms

Netflix has confirmed that the popular series 'Emily In Paris' will conclude with its upcoming sixth season. The show, currently filming in Greece, is set to wrap up the story of Emily Cooper, played by Lily Collins, as she navigates life and love in Europe.

Creator Darren Star expressed gratitude for the journey, stating, 'Making Emily in Paris with this extraordinary cast and crew has been the trip of a lifetime. As we embark on the final season, I am so grateful to Netflix, Paramount, and, most importantly, the fans who have taken this incredible journey with us.'

The decision to end the series appears to be a natural conclusion rather than a cancellation, as all seasons have been ratings successes. Star indicated his agreement with the decision to conclude after six seasons.

Lily Collins, in a social media video, said, 'Season six will bring you everything you love about the show and serve as the final chapter in Emily’s adventure of a lifetime. Our entire cast and crew are pouring our hearts into making this a fantastic farewell season.'

The show, which began on Paramount Network before moving to Netflix, has faced some criticism in France for perpetuating stereotypes, but has also received support from President Emmanuel Macron, who hoped the final seasons would return to Paris.
