Emily Atack and Alex Hassell were among the stars attending a special preview screening for the highly anticipated second series of Rivals on Thursday. The Disney+ show, based on the best-selling novel by Dame Jilly Cooper, follows the high-stakes world of British television set against the Cotswolds countryside.
Atack, who plays Sarah Stratton in the series, arrived at the Soho Hotel in London wearing a bunched-up black satin shirt, a maxi black skirt and closed-toe heels, accessorised with a chic updo. The 36-year-old actress, best known for The Inbetweeners, later changed into a second look for the evening.
She was joined on the pink carpet by co-star Alex Hassell, 45, who plays Rupert Campbell-Black. He opted for a black suede jacket over a navy satin shirt, paired with black jeans. Hassell posed alongside Bella Maclean, 28, who plays his love interest Taggie O'Hara. Maclean wore a light pink backless dress with a cinched waist and an A-line skirt, her auburn hair in natural waves.
Other attendees included Skins star Luca Pasqualino in a pinstripe black suit, Katherine Parkinson in a black blazer with exaggerated shoulder pads and a matching pleated maxi skirt, and Victoria Smurfit in a simple black dress with an A-line maxi skirt and mule heels. Rufus Jones, Claire Rushbrook, Nafessa Williams and Lisa McGrillis were also among the stars present.
The second series of Rivals will premiere on Disney+ on May 15.
