Emily Atack has delighted fans by sharing behind-the-scenes snaps from the set of her new ITV quiz show Nobody's Fool, where she co-presents alongside Danny Dyer. The programme, which premiered this month, features ten contestants whose fate hinges on how intelligent their fellow competitors perceive them to be.
Glamorous and Playful Moments
The actress, who previously worked with Danny on Rivals, posted a gallery of images that included a sizzling photo of herself in a striking red dress with a daring thigh-high slit and a matching scarf. She wore her blonde hair swept back in a low bun and accessorised with silver stilettos and a matching silver buckled belt. Other snaps captured her larking about with Danny, 48, who looked dapper in a tuxedo in one sweet selfie. The pair were also seen perched on directors' chairs, with Danny miming a 'shush' signal while Emily beamed.
Alongside the pictures, Emily wrote: 'Foolin' abaat'. She also shared her glam preparation process, posing in a white robe after having her hair and makeup done.
Mixed Reactions from Viewers
The show has already garnered a dedicated fanbase, with many viewers declaring themselves 'hooked' after its debut on Saturday. However, some have criticised it as a rip-off of the BBC's hit series The Traitors. Nobody's Fool is a quiz show with a twist: contestants' success depends not on their knowledge but on their ability to convince others they know what they're doing. Like The Traitors, it is fundamentally a game of deception, with a prize pot of up to £100,000 at stake.
The synopsis reads: 'It's not about how smart you are, but how smart your rivals think you are. Expect lying, scheming, and a whole lot of quizzing.'
Following the debut, social media buzzed with opinions. One enthusiast wrote: 'Nobody's Fool is addicting! It's like I'm watching The Traitors and Secret Genius at the same time! Great new reality competition show! I'm hooked!' Others praised it as lighthearted entertainment, though some were less impressed, calling it 'alright' or a 'poor rip off'. One critic remarked: 'The elevator pitch for Nobody’s Fool was clearly "The Traitors but no likeable characters".'
Co-Hosts Praise the Format
Despite mixed reviews, Emily and Danny have expressed their enthusiasm for the show. Danny Dyer said: 'This is a blinder of a game show and unlike anything I've seen before. Emily and I had a brilliant time making it, and much like the audience at home will be, we were kept guessing right until the very end.' Emily added: 'It's so exciting to be part of something this new and fresh. The chance to work with Danny again was a no-brainer for me. We had such a laugh. Can't wait for everyone to watch; it's an absolute must-see.'
Danny also addressed comparisons to The Traitors, telling The Chris Evans Breakfast Show: 'I actually watch it unfold on the television, and I would sit back and, you know, it's a different kind of thing. And it does sound a bit like The Traitors… but it's got its own energy.'
Nobody's Fool continues on ITV1 on Mondays and Sundays at 9pm and is available to stream on ITVX.
