Walford is set for a week of explosive revelations and emotional farewells as EastEnders spoilers for next week promise to unravel several gripping storylines. From a shocking stalker accusation to a secret exposed and a surprise engagement, the residents of Albert Square are in for a tumultuous time.
Family Ties Torn Apart
The drama intensifies for the Slater and Moon families. Zoe Slater's ordeal with her mysterious tormentor takes a devastating turn when she makes a chilling discovery in her brother Tommy Moon's rucksack. This leads her to the devastating conclusion that Tommy is the one who has been harassing her.
Despite his fervent protests of innocence, a horrified Zoe lashes out at him, and the confrontation quickly escalates to include her parents, Kat and Alfie Moon. The family rift widens further when Zoe also rows with Vicki Fowler, prompting a reluctant Kat to ask her daughter to leave. Seeking refuge, Zoe turns to Anthony, but a looming question remains: who is watching them from the shadows?
Secrets, Lies and a Proposal
Meanwhile, another secret is on the verge of being uncovered. Anthony finds his own clandestine affairs threatened after a run-in with Howie Danes. The situation becomes more complicated when Howie, still hiding his recent money troubles, decides to propose to his partner, Kim Fox, at the Square's Christmas Lights switch-on.
Kim is thrilled and accepts, but Anthony grows suspicious of Howie. After finding some incriminating evidence, Anthony confronts him. However, Howie soon manages to turn the tables, gaining the upper hand. With both men desperate to keep their secrets hidden, Kim plans her engagement party, but the celebration is destined to go awry as a shocking revelation comes to light.
Farewells and Further Troubles
The week also sees two characters bidding farewell to Walford. Freddie Slater and Anna Knight hold celebrations as they prepare to go travelling together. Their departure sends ripples through the Square, particularly for the Slaters.
Lily Slater grows increasingly worried about her gran Jean's mental health in the fallout. When Lily reveals she's spoken to Doctor Anthony, who suggested Jean make an appointment, Jean angrily refuses any help.
Elsewhere, Lauren Branning is hiding her own troubles, making her partner Peter Beale suspicious. Ian Beale is livid over a separate discovery, and Harry Mitchell buys more drugs, causing his mother Nicola immense worry as she heads to court for Teddy's plea. After fleeing the house, a guilt-ridden Harry is invited by Okie's sister, Dejia, to attend a memorial service.
In lighter moments, Nigel, Julie and Lexi prepare to audition locals for his film, with Priya, Elaine, Callum, Harvey and Ian all vying for roles. Lexi then tasks Billy with a crucial mission: persuading Phil Mitchell to take a part in the production.
