Priya's attempt to help Ravi leads to a collision between their car and another vehicle driven by Max Branning and Cindy Beale, with baby Jimmy also inside. Both families are shaken, but Ravi flees home. Max helps Cindy and Jimmy, who are taken to hospital for checks. Priya eventually finds Ravi on a bridge, where he agrees to come down to safety after she convinces him to seek help.
Meanwhile, Nigel's dementia continues to worsen. The news reaches Sam Mitchell and Mark Fowler Jr., who contact Grant, asking him to return to support Phil and Nigel. Mark suggests Grant should know about Nigel's condition, and they worry about how Phil will cope. Grant's return to the BBC soap is imminent.
