EastEnders viewers believe they have uncovered the heartbreaking truth behind Zoe Slater's frantic search for her long-lost son. During Thursday's episode, Vicki Fowler discovered Zoe's lie about the child's father, leading to a furious confrontation.
Zoe had told Sharon that her late husband and adoptive brother was the father of twins she gave birth to in 2006. After one twin died, Zoe abandoned the other and lied about the father in hopes of securing money for the search. Kat later revealed the truth to Vicki.
Fans took to social media to speculate that Zoe may be suffering from a life-limiting illness, driving her desperate need to find her son.
