EastEnders fans were treated to a surprise on Boxing Day as two beloved characters made a dramatic return to Albert Square. Kandice Taylor and Mitch Baker turned up uninvited at Karen Taylor's Christmas gathering, causing chaos among the family.
Kandice, Karen's sister, arrived heavily pregnant and was eager to reunite with her family. However, her ulterior motive was to help Mitch reconnect with his son, Keegan Baker, after a prolonged absence. She hid Mitch in the bathroom until the moment was right for his reveal.
Karen discovered them together and immediately jumped to the wrong conclusion, believing Mitch was the father of Kandice's baby. The misunderstanding was later cleared up, with Kandice explaining that Mitch had simply done some work on her home and she felt it was only right to help him return to his family.
Keegan was furious to see his father again, turning back to drugs as a coping mechanism. He sarcastically remarked, 'You got a father of the year badge coming in the post!' Mitch tried to explain that his ex-wife was not pregnant and they were divorcing, meaning it was time for him to come back to Keegan and Karen. However, they were not impressed and ordered him to leave.
