EastEnders predictions: Mick Carter return, Amy twist, Janine

EastEnders is heading for dramatic weeks ahead, with our expert predicting that Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) will make a sensational return from the dead, Amy Mitchell's disappearance will take a darker turn, and Janine Butcher will set her sights on a new man.

Mick Carter's return from the dead

Rumours have swirled for months that Mick Carter isn't really dead, and this week's episodes have only fuelled speculation. The Carters have been talking about him constantly, and it was revealed that his son Lee had his death certificate revoked.

Our expert Ruby Naldrett believes a Mick comeback is inevitable, and it will coincide with Linda leaving the Square. "Reuniting with Mick is the only way I can realistically see her leaving her mum, Max, Johnny and the Peacock Palace behind," she said.

Amy's disappearance and Sean Slater's secret

Amy Mitchell has vanished after running off with dodgy cop Craig, and her dad Jack is going mad trying to find her. Sean Slater has returned from Brazil to help find Amy, but the expert questions why he would travel halfway around the world to help find his ex-girlfriend's daughter.

"Surely he must be hiding something?" she asked, adding that this feeds into her theory that Roxy is still alive somewhere.

Janine's return and Zoe's funeral fallout

Janine Butcher is returning for another stint on the Square, teased at the end of the latest trailer. The circumstances of her return are unknown, but the expert predicts she will reunite with Linda and cause chaos. "Everyone knows Janine loves to snare a man, so who will be her next victim? My money's on Ned Hawkins," she said.

Meanwhile, Kat is still fixated on finding out who left Zoe on the night she died. Cindy knows it was Max, but he paid her off to keep his secret. The expert believes Cindy will eventually tell Kat the truth, potentially tying into the flash forward episode. "Maybe Kat is the person holding the gun," she speculated.
