Sharon Watts' plan to poison her husband Ian Beale is set to go wrong in upcoming EastEnders episodes, as new images show her running out of pills. The Queen Vic landlady has been slowly poisoning Ian after discovering his role in the death of her son Denny.
In the Christmas special, it was revealed that Sharon and Phil Mitchell attacked Ian, but after Phil backed out, Sharon took matters into her own hands. However, her scheme may be exposed when she is overheard discussing the plot on the phone.
As pressure mounts, Dotty pushes Sharon to reveal Ian's secret, and Kathy becomes concerned for Ian's health. Sharon's incriminating call could be her downfall, as a character overhears and informs Ian.
Letitia Dean, who plays Sharon, said her character believes Ian deserved the poisoning after his involvement in Denny's death. The storyline continues to unfold in the coming episodes.
