EastEnders spoilers reveal that Sean Slater (Rob Kazinsky) and Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) are searching for Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd), but it may be Denise Fox (Diane Parish) who brings the young woman home. Amy disappeared from Walford this week to be with Craig Ingram (Matthew James Bailey), the police officer who has been grooming her into believing they are in a relationship.
Search continues as family learns of secret bank account
After spending the entire night searching for Amy, Sean and Jack return home in next week's episodes and give the family an update. Later, after learning that Max Branning (Jake Wood) gave Amy her inheritance money, Sean and Jack end up having a row with him.
In the pub, Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) arrives with important information for Sean and the rest of Amy's loved ones. She reveals that Amy opened an online bank account using Charli's tablet, and the family decide to hand this information over to the police.
Craig turns violent as plan unravels
Meanwhile, in a bedsit, it is clear that Amy is nervous around Craig. He arranges a place for them to stay abroad, but when Craig realises that the secret bank account has been frozen, he smacks Amy.
As the family worry about Amy's location, Sean comes up with a new idea to try and lure her back home: get Denise Fox to record a plea video.
Rob Kazinsky on returning to Walford
'I know it's cliche, but it feels like home', star Rob Kazinsky said, discussing how it feels to be back in Walford. 'Perhaps because I played Sean when I was so young or perhaps because the happiest time of my life was when I was first in Walford, but treading these streets again, wearing Sean Slater, feels safe and calm and exciting all at the same time.'
'I know Sean inside and out; of all my characters he's probably the one I am most protective of. Perhaps because of his tragedy or his ability to conquer his demons if he loves someone enough, but I find him deeply human. I've never lost my connection with him and putting Sean's shoes and coat on again felt wholly right.'
