Next week on EastEnders, Cindy Beale is pushed down the stairs by newcomer Jasmine, leading to a dramatic discovery. Jasmine's mother Anita had warned Cindy and Lauren Branning about Jasmine's dark side, prompting Cindy to confront her. In a rage, Jasmine shoves Cindy, whose lifeless body is later found by Oscar Branning.
Jasmine initially denies the push but soon concocts a lie about the incident. However, Cindy survives and later confides in Lauren about the attack. Meanwhile, Lauren is approached by a doctor offering experimental treatment for her visually impaired son Jimmy, but she later realises she has been scammed.
The week also sees a double exit as Anna Knight tells Freddie Slater she is going travelling, and he offers to join her, much to Gina's displeasure. Elsewhere, Zoe receives a sinister Christmas card, and Vicki Fowler and Ross Marshall reflect on their second anniversary, deciding to take things slowly after recent turmoil.
