EastEnders Killer Bea Pollard Fakes Her Murder and Frames Billy Mitchell
EastEnders: Bea Fakes Murder, Frames Billy Mitchell

In Monday's episode of EastEnders (July 2), master manipulator Bea Pollard, played by Ronni Ancona, staged her own murder and framed Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) for the crime. The episode, available now on BBC iPlayer and airing at 7:30pm on BBC One, saw Bea escalate her obsession with Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) to deadly new heights.

Bea's Desperate Scheme Unfolds

Bea, who had become fixated on Honey, deliberately drove a wedge between Honey and her husband Billy. Last month, she set Billy up on a dating app and falsely claimed he tried to sleep with her. Honey shockingly believed Bea over her husband and kicked Billy out. However, Billy's son Will (Freddie Phillips) was convinced of his father's innocence and joined forces with him to expose Bea.

Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe), and Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) also pleaded with Honey to see Bea's true nature. Honey finally saw through Bea when she insisted on a cleaning ritual to rid Billy from her life, burning his prized possessions. When Honey resisted, Bea's mask slipped. Later, Honey found crochet dolls Bea had made, one with a missing head, leaving her shaken.

Honey Discovers Bea's Dark Past

Honey sought advice from Nicola, who encouraged her to talk to Billy. Billy reiterated his innocence and revealed he had found Bea's old housemate, Ruth. Honey met with Ruth, who disclosed that Bea had tried to get rid of her husband in the past. Ruth believed Bea pushed him down the stairs during a supposed 'fall' and later burned down their home, killing their dog.

Back on the Square, Billy confronted Bea about Honey's meeting with Ruth. An altercation ensued, and Bea fell onto broken glass, cutting her hand. She screamed, berating Billy for cheating on Honey previously, then burst into tears.

The Terrifying Twist

Later, Bea destroyed the living area of the house, splattered red food substance to mimic blood, and called the police. Delivering a highly convincing performance, she claimed Billy was attacking her. When police arrived, they informed Honey and Nicola that Billy was wanted in connection with the call. Horrified, Honey tracked Billy down at the boxing gym and revealed Bea had set him up for her 'murder'.

The episode ends with the question: will the police find Bea, and can Billy prove his innocence?

EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One or streams from 6am on BBC iPlayer.
