EastEnders Spoilers: Anthony Trueman's Cause of Death Revealed as Patrick Grieves
EastEnders: Anthony's cause of death and killer revealed

Newly released EastEnders spoilers have detailed the tense and emotional aftermath of Anthony Trueman's brutal murder, with his father Patrick desperate for answers and a potential cause of death emerging.

Chrissie Watts Framed Zoe Slater for Murder

The shocking Christmas Day twist saw Anthony killed, with Zoe Slater initially arrested after being found unconscious next to his body. Zoe had fought with Anthony before being knocked out, leaving her with no memory of the events.

However, Boxing Day episodes revealed the truth: Chrissie Watts is the real killer. Jasmine, who is Chrissie's daughter, confided in her grandmother Kat Moon, who also realised Chrissie was framing Zoe for the crime she committed.

Patrick Trueman's Quest for Truth and a New Clue

In upcoming episodes, Zoe remains in police custody as lawyer Ritchie Scott, called in by Phil Mitchell, updates her on the case. A crucial new detail emerges: Anthony suffered two distinct injuries, further pointing to Chrissie's involvement.

Zoe fears that if Chrissie is found, she will pin the blame on Jasmine instead. She begs Kat to leave the situation alone, but Anthony's grieving father, Patrick Trueman, is demanding answers. After getting nowhere with investigators, he confronts Kat at her home, heightening the tension in Walford.

Jasmine Confides in Oscar as Time Runs Out

With Kat panicking as time runs out to find Chrissie and free Zoe, further drama unfolds. A misunderstanding causes Jasmine to flee after falling out with Kat. Feeling alone, she finally reveals her true identity to Oscar Branning.

Oscar encourages Jasmine to speak to Patrick, but things do not go as planned. The question remains: will Jasmine stay in Walford, and will Chrissie be tracked down before Zoe is charged?

Actor Nick Bailey, who played Anthony Trueman, has spoken about his departure after 25 years. He said he was sad to be leaving but excited about the story being "a launch pad for some incredible stuff heading into 2026."

EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
