Dutch fan carries 26 pints of Tennent's in Fort William pub

A Dutch football fan has become an internet sensation after carrying 26 pints of Tennent's lager across a pub in Fort William without spilling a single drop. The incredible feat was captured on video at Sunny's Sports Bar on Saturday night, as patrons gathered to watch the World Cup match between the Netherlands and Sweden.

Spectacular pint-carrying stunt

The footage shows the man gathering 26 pints of lager in his arms, attempting to carry them from the bar to his table. Fellow drinkers watch in anticipation, some with cameras out, as he tries to manoeuvre the circle of pints. On his first attempt, he lifts the pints but immediately puts them back as some drink spills. Shouts of encouragement like "come on" and "you've got this" ring out from the crowd.

His second attempt is successful. The man swaggers confidently back to his table, delivering the pints with ease. His friends erupt in cheers, and the group breaks into a celebratory dance, chanting and singing before the man turns to the camera and raises his glass in a toast.

Social media reaction

Maggie Robertson, who filmed the video, said: "They certainly made our night, keeping staff and locals entertained." Social media users flooded the post with comments. Ireleezi said: "This is peak human form and this man needs some type of award." Kevin 67 joked: "One minute to 12 at the all inclusive." Cillian O'Cerauil commented: "I'm sorry for doubting you sir. I had nothing to worry about." Marie Madsen laughed: "I love how unnecessary this was."

SeanCocktail added: "Well played chap!! More beers than people, but forward thinking at its finest, and you can never be too careful!!" Trish said: "It was the shortest trip to the bar." Even Premier Inn got involved, saying: "We did not know who we were dealing with."

Scottish fans also making headlines

The incident is not the only viral moment during the World Cup. In Miami, where thousands of Scotland fans have gathered ahead of their opening match against Brazil, supporters have been showcasing their humour. Over the weekend, topless Tartan Army members sailed down a Miami river, standing on the bow of a small boat holding a Saltire and chugging beer. Another fan was filmed skating down 10th Street Beach while playing the bagpipes, dressed in a Scotland strip, kilt, backward cap, glasses, and roller-skates.
