Who Is Victoria Ekanoye?

Victoria Ekanoye, 44, is best known for her two-year stint as Angie Appleton on ITV's Coronation Street. Internationally, she played Rachel, the confidante to Elizabeth Hurley's Queen Helena in The Royals. Other notable roles include Girl Taken, The Turkish Detective, Doctors, and The Worst Witch.

From Stage to Screen

Before television, Ekanoye began her career in musical theatre, performing as Queen Sarabi and Nala in the West End production of The Lion King. She also competed in the 2019 series of The X Factor: Celebrity, representing the "Over 31s" category under judge Nicole Scherzinger and finishing in 11th place.
