David Tennant's 2013 thriller series 'The Escape Artist', created by 'Spooks' writer David Wolstencroft, has arrived on Netflix, captivating UK viewers. The show, which also stars Sophie Okonedo and Toby Kebbell, follows Tennant as a barrister who never loses a case, until a client acquitted of murder brings chilling consequences.
Added to Netflix on 20th September, the series has been edited from its original three episodes to two, a change the streamer has made before, such as with 'The Capture'. The cast includes Ashley Jensen, Alistair Petrie, Kate Dickie, Monica Dolan, and Anton Lesser.
Tennant's new ITV drama 'The Hack', about the phone hacking scandal, premieres this Wednesday. He is also set to appear in the finale of 'Good Omens' and has not ruled out returning to 'Doctor Who', having recently played the role for a short stint.
'The Escape Artist' is available on Netflix from £5.99 per month, also on Sky Glass and Virgin Media Stream.
