Former EastEnders star Danny Dyer has revealed plans to leave £500,000 to his bulldog Debbie in his will. The 45-year-old actor, whose net worth is estimated at £4 million, made the admission on Kathy Burke's podcast Where There's A Will, There's a Wake.
Dyer said he got Debbie just before the pandemic and feels guilty because bulldogs always look sad. He joked that leaving the money would also wind up his wife Joanne, whom he married in 2016. The couple share three children: Dani, Sunnie and Arty.
Dyer described Debbie as his 'illegitimate child', noting that his wife hates animals. He left EastEnders last Christmas after playing Mick Carter since 2014. Since then, he has appeared on Channel 4's Scared Of The Dark and will star in the upcoming Channel 5 drama Heat.
