Croft and Ranganathan win Celebrity Traitors series two

Sebastian Croft and Romesh Ranganathan have become the first two Faithfuls to win The Celebrity Traitors, walking away from the BBC show with a share of £83,000 for their chosen charities.

The pair were crowned winners during the finale of the second series on Friday, October 30. Welsh actor Michael Sheen was revealed as the final celebrity to be murdered by Traitors Maya Jama and King Kenny.

After discovering his fate, Michael said: "The time has come, can’t say I'm surprised, but I am incredibly disappointed, gutted that I got so close to the end. It's been absolutely unforgettable, and I’ve loved every minute."

Final Round Table and Banishing

After a tense round table, Love Island presenter Maya received the most votes from her co-stars and became the last contestant to be banished from the castle. After being banished, Maya said: "Thank you, alright, love you all, good luck, you're going to need it."

Traitor Kenny and four remaining Faithfuls—James Blunt, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Romesh and Sebastian—all made it through the dramatic end game.

End Game Showdown

During the final End Game showdown, Leigh-Anne, James and Kenny were all banished. All five celebrities decided there was still a Traitor in the group, and Little Mix's Leigh-Anne received the most votes and was therefore banished from the castle.

The remaining contestants decided to vote again, and this time pop star James was sent packing, leaving just three contestants—two Faithfuls and one Traitor.

The third vote went down to deadlock, with both Kenny and James getting two votes each. Romesh and Sebastian got the chance to confer and decided to banish Traitor Kenny after some deliberation. Host Claudia Winkleman explained that the game automatically ends when two players remain, and both Sebastian and Romesh were happy for it to end.

Previous Winner's Legacy

Romesh and Sebastian follow in the footsteps of Alan Carr, who won the first series last year. Playing as a Traitor, the comedian successfully deceived the last remaining Faithfuls—Nick Mohammed and David Olusoga—to take home the entire prize pot alone.

Alan secured £87,500 for Neuroblastoma UK, a children's cancer charity for which he serves as a long-term patron. During his time on the show, Alan was dubbed by fans as one of the most entertaining Traitors in the show's history. He frequently laughed while trying to look innocent and admitted he thought his "motor mouth" would get him banished by day two.

The series one finale became the most-watched UK television broadcast of 2025, peaking at 12 million live viewers. The performance earned Alan a National Television Award for Special Recognition and a BAFTA. The Celebrity Traitors is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
