Nicholas Ralph, who plays James Herriot in the beloved period drama All Creatures Great and Small, has hinted at a 'drastic change' for the characters in the upcoming sixth series. The show, which has been a staple on Channel 5 since 2020, follows the life of a Yorkshire vet and his companions.
In a video shared on Channel 5's Instagram account, Ralph teased that the new series would be 'a real special one' but remained tight-lipped on specifics. 'Things change quite drastically for the characters and for the piece in general,' he said, adding that it would be 'pretty damn joyful'.
Callum Woodhouse, who plays Tristan Farnon, confirmed his return, joking that fans should watch because 'I'm still in it!' He also promised plenty of animals, including a parrot. The new series is set to air on Thursday, September 25 at 9pm on Channel 5.
