Coronation Street fans are in for a dramatic week as Carla Connor ends her engagement to Lisa Swain. The trouble begins when Becky Swain targets Costello's daughter and later manipulates her way back into Lisa's life.
Becky downs alcohol and tells Lisa she's hit the bottle, prompting Lisa to bring her to No. 6 to sober up. Carla arrives home to find Becky in Lisa's bathrobe after a shower, and is hurt to have been stood up. The next day, Costello fails to show up for work and is later found attacked, with Kit suggesting Becky may be responsible. Heartbroken, Carla decides to call off the relationship, leaving Lisa stunned.
Meanwhile, Carl Webster continues to manipulate his sister Debbie, stamping an invoice as paid and changing the accounting system password. Debbie's symptoms worsen, and Ronnie suggests she give up work. Elsewhere, Fiz lies to Tyrone about needing to care for her mother Cilla, but Chesney later spots her at a hotel instead. Sarah Platt's confrontation with Theo leads to Todd witnessing an argument, and Theo later grabs Todd in anger.
Dev visits Asha at a mental health unit, where she expresses concern about lack of support from friends. Dev confronts Summer, Nina, and Amy, telling them Asha is debating coming home as a result.
