Corriedale, the crossover event between Coronation Street and Emmerdale, has arrived with new spoilers confirming a multi-vehicle pile-up, a mystery body, and an arrest. The drama unfolds on a stormy road between Hotten and Weatherfield, leading to life-changing repercussions for residents of both soaps.
According to teasers, Becky Swain loses control of her vehicle, triggering the crash. Among those involved are Cain and Moira Dingle, who are driving Jacob Gallagher and Sarah Sugden to the airport; Mack and Charity Dingle, who cause a collision; and Carla Connor and Kit Green, who are pursuing Becky. A small van with a tied-up woman is also caught up in the accident, while Debbie and Ronnie’s wedding guests in a minibus face danger.
A gun-wielding John Sugden is seeking revenge, with Aaron Dingle attempting to save Robert Sugden’s life by agreeing to leave the village. As Aaron faces grave danger, Robert and Joe speed off after them. Meanwhile, a drunken Carl loses control of his car, putting Debbie at risk.
In the aftermath, the injured are taken to hospital, and a lifeless body is left lying in a van at the depot. A confession is shared, and someone is caught on video, leading to an arrest. Families are at war, and secrets from the past emerge, sending shockwaves through the cobbles.
Both soaps will air a 30-minute episode leading into the hour-long crossover on the same day. Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays, while Coronation Street airs weeknights at 8:30pm.
