Todd's Desperate Bid for Freedom
Todd Grimshaw's situation with his controlling partner, Theo Silverton, reaches a critical point. After Todd is left injured, Theo manipulates him into staying inside their flat to avoid anyone seeing his wounds. When Summer Spellman spots Todd and reports a possible intruder, Theo fears exposure, but Todd covers for him by claiming he returned from a trip early.
Theo's abuse continues as he pushes Todd into intense fitness regimes, setting a 10k running goal and even buying him an exercise bike. Todd is clearly in agony, and a concerned Christina Boyd offers him a cup of tea, potentially providing a chance for him to confide in someone. The tension escalates when Billy and Summer notice the cut on Todd's face, with Theo quickly blaming a drunken incident in London. Billy remains suspicious, leaving viewers to wonder if he will be the one to expose the truth about the abuse.
The final straw comes when Theo's ex, Danielle, announces she is taking their children to Tenerife for Christmas. Theo shockingly supports her decision but then turns his fury on Todd, blaming him for the situation and criticising his fitness. Pushed to his limit, Todd finally declares he can't take any more and makes a move to leave. The question remains: will he find the strength to go through with it?

Elsewhere on the Street, Roy Cropper is acting strangely, and Nina Lucas and Shona Platt are determined to uncover what he is hiding. Their investigation unnerves Roy, and when Shona looks through his post, he becomes visibly angry, suggesting he is guarding a significant secret.
In another emotional storyline, Ollie Driscoll and Dee-Dee Bailey suffer a sad split. Following their breakup, Dee-Dee confides some major news in Alya Nazir, hinting at further complications to come. Meanwhile, Dev Alahan brings his daughter Asha back home, adding to the family dynamics on the cobbles.
