This week on Coronation Street, Carla faces losing her factory, a business goes under, and a potential secret long-lost mum twist unfolds. Our expert shares predictions on the biggest storylines and where they might go next.
Carla's factory drama
Carla had a tough week as she faced losing her beloved Underworld business. Cunning Idris Nazir got Brody Michaelis to destroy the business as part of a plan to get his hands on the factory. The plan worked, and Carla had to shut it down, telling her heartbroken staff she could only afford to pay them one wage.
With Leanne Battersby knowing about Idris's plan, a confrontation between Carla and Leanne seems inevitable on the cobbles.
Marco's long-lost mum twist?
Evil Ross Wilkes turned his attention to Marco Rhodes in prison, making cruel comments to the youngster, who is Gary Windass's cellmate. Ross also ripped up a card from Summer Spellman to Marco.
Fans are predicting more things to be unearthed about Marco, with some reckoning his mum could be the secret son of a soap favourite, Glenda Shuttleworth.
Daniel vs Adam
Adam Barlow and Daniel Osbourne got into a fight after a fuming Daniel found out solicitor Adam was representing someone who wanted to buy land on the local high school. The pair ended up brawling in the street, much to the shock of relative Amy Barlow.
Their feud is far from over, with more fights predicted.
Debbie's dementia plans
Debbie was back on screens this week, with her dementia appearing to worsen. She was keen to attend her husband Ronnie's support group and told him they needed to discuss her long-term care whilst she can still make decisions, leaving Ronnie heartbroken.
With Debbie's potential exit date sometime next year, a return could be on the cards for some former residents, possibly her nieces Rosie and Sophie Webster.
Coronation Street airs Monday to Friday at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
