Lucy Parkinson (Anya Dewin) uncovered the truth about Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) in Coronation Street this evening, after Christina made a devastating discovery of her own. Christina has been hiding the fact that she is Lucy's biological grandmother, but a major misstep saw Lucy find out.
Christina had her daughter Rachel adopted at just a few months old, and was stunned to learn of her murder and the fact that she'd had a daughter. Christina kept a photo of her late daughter in a keyring, which she clumsily dropped for Lucy to find.
Christina's Devastating Discovery
The mistake happened after Christina made a devastating discovery while watching a video on Lucy's phone. She later told George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) that she'd seen Rachel's husband Richie whisper something in Rachel's ear in the back of the clip and had watched Rachel's face drop.
Heartbreakingly, she explained that it reminded her of Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) during his ordeal with Theo Silverton. She then confessed that there was no doubt in her mind that Richie was guilty of Rachel's murder.
