Coronation Street Fans 'Work Out' Emmerdale Connection After Crossover

Coronation Street viewers believe they have identified the person harassing newcomer Jodie Ramsey, linking back to the recent crossover with Emmerdale. Jodie debuted on the ITV soap last week and was seen ignoring repeated phone calls before suffering a panic attack in Monday's episode.

Fans on Reddit speculated that the caller could be Graham Foster, who was revealed to be alive during the Corriedale crossover after being presumed murdered on Emmerdale. Jodie was previously seen tied up in the back of his van. Others suggested it might be sex trafficker Nathan Curtis, given Shona Platt's history with him.

Jodie was introduced as Shona's long-lost sister, a plot device that has drawn criticism from some viewers. One fan wrote: "Shona's sister just came out of nowhere, why now? Must be more to the story!" Another questioned the relevance of both characters having a tree of life tattoo.

Coronation Street has frequently used long-lost relatives in recent storylines, including Bernie Winter as DC Kit Green's mother and Bobby Crawford as Carla Connor's nephew. The soap airs Monday to Friday at 8:30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITV X from 7am.
