Former Coronation Street actor Chris Quinten, 61, has revealed plans to start a family with his fiancée Robyn Delaberre, 21, a dancer at his strip club. The couple met when Robyn auditioned at Secrets nightclub in Hammersmith, West London, which Chris owns.
Robyn, who was not born when Quinten left the soap in 1989, initially kept the relationship secret to avoid losing her job. Her family was shocked to learn of the romance, with her father discovering it on ITV's This Morning. Her mother was more concerned about the strip club environment than the 40-year age gap.
Despite initial reservations, Robyn's parents have given their blessing. Chris proposed on Robyn's 21st birthday, and the couple plan to marry. Chris has three children from previous relationships, including a daughter only seven years younger than Robyn.
