Coronation Street spoilers: Underworld faces ruin as Idris strikes
Coronation Street spoilers: Underworld faces ruin next week

Next week on Coronation Street, Idris Nazir (Junade Khan) sets his sights on ruining Carla Connor-Swain's (Alison King) business, using his minion Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) to strike a major blow against Underworld. Meanwhile, Gary Windass (Mikey North) adjusts to prison life, caught between vulnerable Marco Rhodes (William Teasdale) and vicious bully Ross Wilkes (Ian Burfield). Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) continues to struggle with cancer, and a stern order from colleague Lisa Connor-Swain (Vicky Myers) leaves him furious.

Monday, November 2

Maria pleads with Gary not to get involved when he worries to her that Marco is being bullied. Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) later thanks Ross when he says he'll keep an eye on Marco for her, organising him a cleaning job to keep him busy. Overhearing Carla discuss an important business meeting with Lisa, Idris follows and takes her potential client aside for a word.

Daniel tells Ken, Adam and Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) that his article is due to be published in the Gazette as the latter two mask their guilt. Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) shows George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) a message she's written to Richie (Nathan Sussex), hoping he'll allow her to visit.

Tuesday, November 3

Daniel confronts Adam after learning of his and Idris' involvement in the sale of the school land. Despite his protestations, the two end up brawling in the street before Adam has to race to court to fight for Marco's appeal. As Carla's business starts to crumble, she's forced to tell the staff that she's struggling to keep the factory running.

Idris tells Brody he has a job for him, leading him to steal Sally Metcalfe's (Sally Dynevor) keys and break into Underworld as Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) watches on. Marco advises Gary to ignore Ross, while Ross advises Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) to apologise to Chesney Winter-Brown (Sam Aston) to shut Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) up. Kit struggles as Bernie becomes fiercely over-protective.

Wednesday, November 4

Carla tells the factory staff that they must close and she can only afford to pay them a month's wages. Leanne confronts Idris and Brody over what happened, and later Brody is sickened at Idris and Leanne's callous attitude toward the plight of the staff. Ross visits Marco and tears a card he received from Summer to pieces, leading Gary to stand up to him before receiving a firm warning to learn his place and accept that Ross is in charge.

Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) takes Kit for a curry when he feels smothered by Lisa, Bernie and Gemma Winter-Brown (Dolly-Rose Campbell). Debbie asks if she can accompany Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) to the dementia support group.

Thursday, November 5

Kit loses his rag with a coughing woman at work, leading Kirk Sutherland (Andrew Whyment) to step in, comfort her and tell Bernie, Dev and Brody what happened. Later, when Lisa tells Kit to go on sick leave, he explodes at Bernie, accusing her of interfering.

Debbie enlists her angels, Sally, Christina and Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger), round for a project she's working on, with Glenda forcing Sally and Christina to fix their issues. Debbie tells Ronnie that they need to organise her long-term care while she's still able to make decisions. Concurrently, Idris schemes with Leanne about the future of the factory, Carla is heartened when Sean Tully (Antony Cotton), Izzy Armstrong (Cherylee Houston) and Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) pledge to help her and the factory, and Gemma receives her test results.
