Next week on Coronation Street, Toyah Battersby discovers Abi Franklin drinking vodka and encourages her to attend a support group. Abi agrees and introduces Toyah to Dean, claiming he is her sponsor. However, Dean is actually supplying Abi with drugs, and the pair laugh at Toyah's gullibility.
Meanwhile, Adam Barlow insists to Sarah that Lydia Chambers is lying about their alleged affair. Sarah demands dates and times from Lydia, but despite initial doubts, Lydia's manipulation convinces Sarah otherwise. Adam visits Lydia's house to talk, but she plays the victim and trashes her home, claiming she has called the police.
