Coronation Street: Five Characters Face Murder Risk in April Flashforward Episode

Coronation Street has revealed the five characters who could be killed off in a dramatic murder storyline set to air in April. The ITV soap will feature a flashforward episode, jumping to April 23, 2026, where a body is discovered. The potential victims include Megan Walsh, Theo Silverton, Carl Webster, Maggie Driscoll, and Jodie Ramsey.

The episode begins with a police interview, where Betsy Swain describes finding a dead body. She had been attending the wedding of her mother Lisa Swain to Carla Connor when she made the discovery. The narrative then returns to the present day, showing how each character's actions could lead to their demise.

Megan Walsh, a teacher, is grooming teenager Will Driscoll. Maggie Driscoll provides a false alibi for Will to protect him from charges related to a Christmas Day attack on Daniel Osbourne. Carl Webster has alienated his family after letting Debbie take the blame for an accident that killed Billy Mayhew, and his behaviour has made him many enemies.

Theo Silverton's coercive control over Todd has intensified as their wedding approaches. Jodie Ramsey, Shona's estranged sister, has been welcomed by the Platts but is hiding secrets and may have dangerous connections. The episode ends with another flashforward to April 23, showing the five characters on the cobbles as fireworks explode. A battered Carl, frantic Jodie, menacing Maggie, bloody-nosed Megan, and furtive Theo are seen before Betsy's scream is heard.

Coronation Street airs weeknights at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX. Viewers will have to wait to see which character meets their end.
