Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) is set to find love again in Coronation Street as she eyes newcomer Sienna (Charlotte Tyree) during a planned intervention that goes awry. The troubled youngster, who has endured a string of heartbreaks on the cobbles, may finally catch a break when her friends attempt to set her up.
Asha's Romantic History
Asha's first romance was with school crush Corey Brent (Maximus Evans), which coincided with her grandmother Yasmeen (Shelley King) escaping abusive Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew). Corey coerced Asha into stripping on a webcam, and leaked footage led to severe bullying at school. Asha later discovered Corey was responsible for the hate-crime attack that killed Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) and exposed his crimes to police.
She then fell for Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher), a fan-favourite pairing. Nina supported Asha through her breakup with Corey, and they first kissed in February 2021. After a brief split, they reunited following Seb's death, but the relationship ended when Nina kissed Asha's twin brother Aadi (Adam Hussain) out of jealousy over Asha's closeness to paramedic mentor Isla (Emily Dowson). Asha then experienced a mental health crisis in 2025, leading to a suicide attempt.
New Beginning with Sienna
In next week's episodes, Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby), Nina, and Amy (Ella Mulvaney) stage an intervention for Summer, concerned about her health after Theo's murder. But when Asha spots her former supervisor Sienna at the bistro and learns her date has stood her up, the friends urge Asha to make a move. Will Asha take the chance?
Fan Hopes for Nasha Reunion
Asha has moved back in with Nina, leading fans to hope for a reunion. However, this new development suggests Asha may be moving on with Sienna instead. According to Metro Soaps, the storyline promises more twists as Asha resumes her paramedic training.
