Loose Women stars have denied reports of a feud, insisting they share a 'genuine camaraderie' both on and off screen. Charlene White, Jane Moore, Nadia Sawalha and Katie Piper, among the show's co-hosts, told OK! magazine that the women are 'incredibly supportive' and even have a WhatsApp group chat.
In an interview to mark International Women's Day, they dismissed rumours of rifts. Newcomer Charlene White said one of the biggest misconceptions about the show was the 'nonsense stories' about their relationships. 'You have an impression of what it's going to be like. Then you walk into this amazing group of women and realise that everyone's incredibly supportive,' she said.
Katie Piper revealed the WhatsApp group is constantly active, even when members are not on the show. 'It's a genuine camaraderie,' she said. Jane Moore, an original host from 1999, acknowledged debates can get 'a bit fiery' but insisted they have never fallen out. She criticised media reports of 'cat fights', saying such language is not used about male presenters.
Nadia Sawalha described their relationship as a 'microwave friendship', noting they get to know each other quickly and intensely. The women emphasised their support for one another and the programme.
