Jeremy Clarkson has confirmed that Clarkson's Farm Season 6 is currently in production, just days after revealing his prostate cancer diagnosis and subsequent remission in the fifth series of the Prime Video hit. The announcement came via an Instagram video posted over the weekend, in which Clarkson appeared in front of a Lamborghini tractor to share the news.
Clarkson's Instagram Update
“So, bit of a year,” Clarkson began in the video. “But, I am delighted to tell you that Season 6 of Clarkson's Farm is currently being filmed. It's in production. And that's particularly good news for me because... well, if you know, you know. And, if you don't know, you need to watch Season 5.”
The announcement comes after Clarkson revealed in the seventh episode of series five that he had been diagnosed with an “aggressive” form of prostate cancer. The news left his farming colleagues Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland visibly devastated. Clarkson explained that he had undergone a procedure to remove 10% of his prostate via ultrasound.
Cancer Remission and Health Update
Just hours before the Season 6 announcement, Clarkson took to Instagram to reassure fans that he is “perfectly fine” following a follow-up PSA test two months ago that showed no signs of cancer. He is now in remission and urged men to get tested for the disease. “If you don't know, you need to watch Season 5,” he reiterated, emphasizing the importance of early detection.
Clarkson's cancer battle was a central storyline in series five, which also saw him undergo an emergency heart operation in late 2024. The series also featured one of his most difficult farming ordeals yet when his pregnant cow was slaughtered following “inconclusive” tuberculosis tests.
Filming Underway at Diddly Squat Farm
Filming for Season 6 is officially back on at Diddly Squat Farm, where Clarkson has been spotted alongside camera crews, fueling speculation that production was well underway. The series is expected to land sometime in summer 2027.
Fans have reacted positively to the news, with one follower commenting: “I love you Jeremy, love the show and the rest of the crew.” Another said: “Best news of the day!” A third wrote: “Absolutely thrilled. Thrilled as your show is one of my all time favourites, but even moreso that you're all clear health wise! Excitedly awaiting season 6.”
Series 5 Highlights
Series 5 was a rollercoaster ride for the Diddly Squat team, which also features Clarkson's partner Lisa Hogan and dry stone walling expert Gerald Cooper. Beyond the health scares, there were heartwarming moments, such as the AI-powered AgBot tractor demonstrating its worth and Kaleb Cooper celebrating the arrival of his third child with fiancée Taya.
Clarkson's Farm is available to stream on Prime Video.
