The fifth season of Clarkson's Farm has already been described as the most emotional installment yet. Prime Video has teased numerous challenges ahead for Jeremy Clarkson, ranging from his own health issues to difficult animals and political rallies.
Release Schedule for Season 5
As with previous seasons, not all episodes will be released at once. The season consists of eight episodes, split into three parts over several weeks.
- Part 1 (episodes 1-4): June 3
- Part 2 (episodes 5-6): June 10
- Part 3 (episodes 7-8): June 17
Prime Video typically releases new content at midnight Greenwich Mean Time, which is 1 a.m. British Summer Time. This means episodes will be available when fans wake up on release day, though viewers can stay up late to watch immediately.
What to Expect in the New Episodes
The first four episodes will see Clarkson dealing with a major heart scare, forcing him to find ways to reduce stress at Diddly Squat Farm. He also unveils bold plans for the Farmer's Dog pub's first festive season and participates in a huge farmers' protest against inheritance tax. Additionally, viewers will see Diddly Squat embrace high-tech farming methods.
Clarkson admitted he still struggles with basic farming tasks, saying: "After six or seven years of farming, I still can't attach anything to the back of a tractor. I can't remember the sequence of buttons, I can't line anything up properly, and I don't know where the hydraulic hoses go. It disappoints me that I still have to get Kaleb to help."
Executive producer Andy Wilman stated: "In the final episodes, it becomes much heavier and more emotional than anything we've seen before. In many ways it's the most personal series yet, not because Jeremy wants to make it about himself, but simply because of circumstance."
Clarkson's Farm season 5 premieres on Prime Video on June 3.
