Chad Powers Hulu Release Date Confirmed By Glen Powell

Hulu has announced that its new comedy series 'Chad Powers', starring Glen Powell, will premiere on September 30 with two episodes. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly on Tuesdays. The news was revealed at the streamer's upfront presentation in New York City.

The half-hour comedy, co-created by Powell and Michael Waldron, follows hotshot quarterback Russ Holliday (Powell), whose bad behaviour ends his college career. He then disguises himself and walks onto a struggling Southern football team as the talented and affable Chad Powers (Powell).

Produced by 20th Television, the series is based on a sketch by NFL Films and Omaha Productions that aired on ESPN+ as part of the 'Eli's Places' series. Powell and Waldron co-wrote the pilot episode.
