The Celebrity Traitors final ended with Romesh Ranganathan and Bash being crowned winners after a dramatic series of events. The Faithfuls secured victory, with Claudia Winkleman confirming the result in the explosive final episode aired on Friday.
In a surprising turn, remaining Traitors Maya Jama and King Kenny were banished, leaving Romesh, Bash and James Blunt as the final three Faithfuls. However, James made a major U-turn, deciding to banish again after suspecting Romesh could be a Traitor. This proved to be self-sabotage as he found himself banished from the game.
Faithfuls Triumph After Traitor Banishes
This left Romesh and Bash to split the £83,000 prize pot. The outcome stunned viewers, with many taking to social media to express their disbelief.
One fan said: "Wow, The Faithfuls have won. Unbelievable. Well done, lads. #traitors." Another added: "MADNESS!! A FAITHFUL WIN." A fourth commented: "Never in a MILLION years did I think this season would end with the Faithfuls winning."
Final Episode Twists
Before the final, Kenny turned on fellow Traitor Maya at the roundtable, with Romesh, James and Bash also voting for her. Maya was banished, but as it was the final, she did not reveal her identity, leaving the remaining players guessing if a Traitor was still among them.
Earlier in the week, James Acaster broke character at the roundtable, admitting he was a Traitor. He told the remaining players: "I just want to explain my situation, I was made a Traitor. I don't want to say 'it's me vote for me', but it's all I can do really."
The series began with 21 celebrities entering the Scottish castle, including Coronation Street star Julie Hesmondhalgh, actor Michael Sheen, comedian Romesh Ranganathan, Love Island presenter Maya Jama, content creator King Kenny and Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock. The final aired at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
