Celebrity Traitors Stars Land in Scotland for Filming

Filming for the celebrity edition of BBC's hit reality series The Traitors has officially begun, with a host of famous faces arriving in Scotland. Stars including Jonathan Ross, Tom Daley, Charlotte Church, Stephen Fry, Alan Carr, and David Olusoga were spotted at Inverness Airport, ready to take on the psychological game of deception and trust.

Other celebrities expected to participate include Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway, rugby star Joe Marler, YouTuber Niko Omilana, and Line of Duty actor Mark Bonnar. Comedians Joe Wilkinson and Lucy Beaumont, presenter Clare Balding, EastEnders star Tameka Empson, and actresses Celia Imrie and Ruth Codd have also signed up.

Claudia Winkleman returns as host for the series, which sees contestants assigned roles as either Traitors or Faithfuls. The celebrities must convince their fellow players of their allegiance, with Traitors secretly eliminating Faithfuls each night. The format mirrors the civilian version that has run for three series in the UK, with Faithfuls winning two of the three seasons so far.

Filming is said to be intensive, with former contestant Charlotte Chilton revealing that days can last up to 17 hours. She told The Mirror: 'You talk about really personal things... I told these guys more than I've told some of my best friends because the trust you build over that time.'

The BBC has not yet confirmed an air date for the celebrity series. The previous civilian series introduced a 'Seer' twist, allowing one player to discover another's true identity, leading to dramatic gameplay.
