The Celebrity Traitors 2026 final airs tonight following a dramatic penultimate episode in which James Acaster confessed to being a Traitor before being voted out. Fans are now speculating that Kenny will betray Maya Jama to secure the win.
James Acaster's Confession and Fallout
In a shock twist, James Acaster panicked under pressure and told everyone he was a Traitor before they voted him out, a move that angered some viewers. He has since been defended by friends and co-stars, with Romesh Ranganathan saying he played a "truly unique game."
Eagle-eyed viewers spotted James' name on Romesh's slate before the votes were shown, sparking further mystery. Some fans also claim that in clips shared online, there was a name on James' slate, potentially Michael, though this has not been confirmed.
Final Showdown Predictions
With one more murder ahead, Michael is prepared to go down fighting. The BBC is holding a special Traitors watch party on iPlayer with former stars Mollie and Wilf, who have suggested it's bad news for Maya but Kenny could take the win.
Some fans are convinced Kenny will help the Faithfuls get rid of Maya, sealing the win for himself. One fan suggested: "I still think Kenny could win, but he'll have to throw Maya under the bus."
Cast Reactions and Behind-the-Scenes
Miranda Hart, speaking on The One Show, said of James Acaster: "It was a bit of a mind blown emoji [moment]. James Acaster, what a guy! I have so much respect for him. I think it's amazing and fascinating for the game. He's funny, charming and brilliant. Full respect to him."
Miranda also revealed details about the filming process, including how long it took for Leigh-Anne Pinnock to teach her Little Mix choreography. Ross Kemp added: "We laughed a lot. You're being filmed all day, some of the night. They edit that down to an hour."
Ross Kemp also reacted to his newfound fame, saying he was heckled by school kids outside the House of Lords: "Normally it's adults who come up to me because all my shows are post-watershed, so it was nice!"
The final episode is extended with no ad breaks, and the remaining finalists will gather around the firepit as one more Faithful falls at the final hurdle.
