Celebrity Traitors final: Faithful win after Acaster chaos

The Faithful triumphed in a chaotic Celebrity Traitors final that saw James Acaster's Traitor reveal upend the game, with King Kenny's decision to banish Maya Jama setting off a chain of events that delivered a decisive victory.

The final episode brought back-stabbing and tension that left viewers on edge. King Kenny turned on Maya Jama by sending her home, and she responded coldly: "Good luck, you're going to need it."

Acaster's Reveal Shakes Up the Game

James Acaster's announcement that he was a Traitor topped even Richard E Grant's gleeful reveal, according to the report. His admission upended what he called a "foregone conclusion" that the Faithful would be defeated, saying: "This is much better, isn't it?"

The tension escalated after Maya's departure, with James Blunt visibly fuming at being accused of un-Faithful behaviour by Romesh Ranganathan. Leigh-Anne was next out of the door, followed by Traitor King Kenny, then James, securing a win for the Faithful.

Strategic Play and Key Departures

The two mad moments where Richard and James both 'I am a Traitor'd bookended the second celebrity run, which provided jaw-droppers to a series where chaotic humour had given way to calm, strategic masterminds like Maya Jama.

Richard E Grant could have filled the void left by Alan Carr, but his theory that co-stars wouldn't take him seriously came to a halt with 18 votes against him and the words: "I have been annihilated."

Michael Sheen was so good he could be a cold-case detective, and the Traitors finally moved on him in tonight's episode. Richard was replaced by James, and Hannah was replaced by Kenny. As Mr Sheen pointed out, there might be more value in voting out weak Faithfuls because Traitors get replaced.

The voicing of the theory, backed by Hannah, was swiftly followed by the departure of Jerry Hall. In the end, the Faithful just didn't have the numbers until Acaster announced himself a Traitor, and Maya Jama didn't seem to think so, gurning with displeasure after the round table.
