Britney Spears unveiled a sleek new hairdo and fresh extensions after an appointment with celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton on Monday.

'As a kid growing up in England, Britney Spears was the soundtrack to so many moments,' the 42-year-old father-of-two captioned his Instagram post. 'Never in a million years did I think I'd one day be standing behind the chair (or in this case her standing behind mine, LOL) styling her hair. Some moments really do come full circle. She is not only an icon, but one of the most genuinely kind and gentle souls I've ever met.'

Appleton's favorite client Kim Kardashian commented on his snap with two arrow heart emojis. The 45-year-old Skims CCO famously officiated the 'Your Roots Don't Define You' author's whirlwind 2023 wedding to actor Lukas Gage in Las Vegas, which ended in divorce seven months later.
Appleton's client list also includes Kardashian's momager Kris Jenner, Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Kidman, Martha Stewart, Drew Barrymore, Christina Aguilera, Chrishell Stause and Bethenny Frankel.
Friendship with Kim Kardashian
The 'Kardashians' producer-star previously invited Spears to a November 14 sleepover at her $60 million Hidden Hills mansion alongside sister Khloé Kardashian. 'She is just a doll. She's like the sweetest, sweetest girl,' Kardashian told Khloé in 'Wonder Land' on January 28. 'Her manager, Cade [Hudson], had connected us and she wanted to come over and we hung. And I've met her a few times before and she's just really sweet and wanted some girl time.'
The 'All's Fair' producer-star originally met the 44-year-old retired pop star in 2012 when she was a judge on Fox's 'The X-Factor,' which Khloé co-hosted.
Legal Update
Spears' makeover came nearly a month after she took a plea deal to avoid jail on DUI misdemeanor charges stemming from her March 4 arrest. The Grammy winner agreed to the lesser charge of 'wet reckless' aka reckless driving involving alcohol and/or drugs, for which she received 12 months probation.
Spears cannot possess drugs without a valid prescription, she must complete a DUI class and pay state-mandated fines or she'll be sentenced to jail. The 'Hold Me Closer' hitmaker - who left a treatment center 21 days into a 30-day rehab stint - must also continue to meet with a psychologist once a week and a psychiatrist twice a month.
'Through her plea today, Britney has accepted responsibility for her conduct,' Spears' lawyer Michael Goldstein told TMZ. 'She has taken significant steps to implement positive change which is clearly reflected in the Ventura County District Attorney's decision to reduce the charge in this case and dismiss the DUI. Britney appreciates this discretion and is also grateful for the outpouring of support she has received.'

The Mississippi-born singer welcomed two sons - Jayden James Federline, 19, and Sean Preston Federline, 20 - during her two-year marriage to second ex-husband Kevin Federline, which ended in 2007.
Last October, Spears revealed she would be launching her jewelry brand B. Tiny 'soon' as well as an 'extremely wicked' oil scent in a decorative vial. 'Wicked' director Jon M. Chu is developing the former child star's fully-authorized biopic based on her 2023 memoir 'The Woman In Me' for Universal Pictures.
