Bradley Walsh's Life Off Screen with Famous Wife Amid New Series of ITV Show

Bradley Walsh, the 65-year-old host of ITV's The Chase, is back on screens with his son Barney, 28, for the seventh series of Breaking Dad. The new six-part series sees the duo exploring the Australian outback, with Barney planning adrenaline-fuelled challenges to push his father to the limit.

Away from the cameras, Bradley lives in a £2.5 million barn conversion in Essex with his wife, Donna Derby. The couple married in 1997 and have been together for over two decades. Donna, a former dancer, appeared in Robert Palmer's iconic 1980s music video for Simply Irresistible.

The couple's son, Barney, has followed in his parents' footsteps, pursuing a career in entertainment. He is known for roles on Casualty and co-presenting Gladiators with his father, as well as starring in the ITV series Breaking Dad.

Bradley's career began in football; he played professionally for Brentford in 1979 at age 18, though he never made the first team. He later moved into presenting on The Wheel of Fortune and acting in Coronation Street, Law and Order, and Doctor Who.

Less well known is that Bradley has a daughter, Hayley, from a previous relationship with Debby Parker. Born in 1982, Hayley works as a reflexologist and lives in Hertfordshire with her husband Tom and son Dax. Bradley became a grandfather for the first time in November 2021, saying at the time: 'I am a grandfather! My daughter and her husband, Tom, have a baby boy who is coming up to five months old.'

Bradley & Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad series seven launches Friday 1 May 2026 at 7:30PM on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.
