In a tense sequence, housemate Segun drew the golden envelope, tasking him with selecting three contestants to join him in the vault. He chose Baked Potato, Ali, and Nathan. Big Brother offered Segun £10,000 if he correctly guessed which of the three had the most public votes to stay. He bet on Ali and won, but the twist revealed that Baked Potato had the fewest votes, leading to her immediate eviction.
Viewers took to social media to vent their frustration. One wrote: "@ITV have single handedly ruined Big Brother in a single episode. This isn't entertainment at all." Another called it "the worst back door eviction ever," while a third questioned why Segun received £10,000, suggesting it was "stolen" from the prize pot.
