Big Brother viewers voiced the same complaint within minutes of the 2026 live final starting on ITV2, objecting to the show airing on a Thursday rather than a Friday.
The reality series concluded on Thursday night, November 5, after eight weeks of drama. AJ Odudu and Will Best returned to host the live final, with housemates Twinks, Rochelle, Yasmin, Samuel, Lynx and Catrin still in contention for the win following a recent shock double eviction.
Viewers question the scheduling
As the show began, viewers quickly took to social media to criticise the Thursday slot. One person wrote on X: “The final on a Thursday, how odd.” Another viewer echoed the sentiment, posting: “Final on a Thursday… nonsense.”
