Lettice Rowbotham: The 'Poshest' BGT Contestant Who Wowed Judges

Lettice Rowbotham, a 24-year-old violinist from Surrey, made headlines after being declared the 'poshest contestant ever' on Britain's Got Talent. Speaking in perfect received pronunciation, she impressed judges with her electric violin performance and unfazed attitude.

David Walliams teased her, saying: 'I think you might be the poshest contestant we've had on the show' and 'the poshest person to ever come to Birmingham.' Lettice confidently admitted before her performance: 'I am too hungover to be nervous, which I think is great!'

Her version of three chart tracks wowed the judges. Amanda Holden said: 'You just had me at hello, you made the violin sexy.' Alesha Dixon praised her as 'a skilled musician,' while Simon Cowell added: 'Not only are you brilliant, you have a fantastic personality as well.'
