Beyond Paradise fans believe they have predicted Constable Kelby Hartford's departure from the show, as Humphrey Goodman faces a difficult decision in series four.
The series returned last month with Humphrey, played by Kris Marshall, being told by a new official, James Smith, that he must reduce his team at Shipton Abbott Police Station from four to three officers. Humphrey confided in his wife Martha about the dilemma, admitting he had no idea who to let go.
Viewers have taken to Reddit to share theories, with many suggesting Kelby could be the one to leave. One fan speculated that Kelby might join Zoe, who has expressed a desire to travel, possibly moving to St Marie to work as a uniformed officer. Another viewer described the idea of Kelby going to St Marie as 'fantastic', adding that it would be a fresh twist on the 'fish out of water' trope.
