Ben Shephard's GMB Return Sparks Fan Frenzy Over New Tour and Studio
Ben Shephard Returns to GMB, Fans Ecstatic Over Tour

Ben Shephard has made a highly anticipated return to the Good Morning Britain studio, sending fans into a frenzy of excitement as they all echoed the same sentiment about his heartwarming comeback. The beloved presenter appeared on the latest live edition of the hit ITV morning show, marking his first appearance in the programme's brand-new central London studio since his return to GMB in December 2025.

A Nostalgic Reunion on Screen

Shephard, who left Good Morning Britain after a decade in March 2024 to co-host This Morning alongside Cat Deeley, joined his good friend Chris Kamara to promote their upcoming tour, Ben and Kammy's Unbelievable Show. The 51-year-old star's return was met with warm welcomes from the GMB team, with Susanna Reid teasing the interview by highlighting Kamara's remarkable journey since his diagnosis with a rare neurological condition four years ago.

Reid affectionately remarked, "You're sitting there in place, smelling delicious by the way. It's four years since footballing legend Chris Kamara was diagnosed with the rare neurological condition which affected his ability to speak, but he's back." She then corrected herself playfully, adding, "[He's] taking to the stage with his good friend, our much-loved, it says here, former colleague Ben Shephard. You're not a former colleague, you are still a colleague!"

Fans Express Overwhelming Adoration

ITV viewers were absolutely delighted to see Ben and Chris back on their screens together, with many taking to social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their joy. One enthusiastic fan wrote, "Absolutely adore Ben and Kammy," while another added, "I love Kammy, what a fella." A third viewer chimed in, noting, "What a lovely friendship," capturing the essence of the pair's special bond that has captivated audiences.

Shephard himself couldn't resist a playful jab, joking about the autocue and turning to Kate Garraway with a cheeky, "Don't you forget me, Garraway." This lighthearted moment underscored the familiar chemistry that fans have missed since his departure from the show.

Behind the Scenes of the Unbelievable Tour

The upcoming tour promises to be a heartfelt journey through the defining moments of both presenters' remarkable careers. Chris and Ben will share personal stories from behind the camera, offering fans an intimate glimpse into their enduring friendship. The production is set to kick off in Portsmouth in April, a city holding special significance as the home of Kamara's first football club, before moving on to London and Manchester in May and June.

Reflecting on the tour, Chris Kamara shared his initial uncertainty, saying, "To begin with, I wasn't sure what to expect, but from the first laugh we got, it was just incredible." Ben Shephard added to the excitement, explaining, "It's really exciting on the road, you're absolutely right, because we don't see the viewers. So, suddenly having them there and they can ask us questions about our careers. We go through all of Kammy's amazing moments, some of the things I've done, [and] some of the great Tipping Point answers that we've had over the years."

Shephard's Other Ventures and Challenges

Elsewhere in the interview, Ben opened up about his new ITV series, The Summit, which is approaching its grand finale. The presenter revealed a personal disappointment, noting that he would have loved to attempt some of the show's daring challenges, but insurance restrictions prevented him from participating.

He elaborated, "I was helicoptered in and they took me away again at night. Insurance wouldn't allow me to do those sorts of things, so I watched from afar sadly. I would have loved to give it a go, because they go across the crevasse, they climb up an ice wall - it's been an incredible journey." This insight added another layer to Shephard's multifaceted career, showcasing his adventurous spirit despite practical limitations.

Good Morning Britain continues to air weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 6am, bringing viewers the latest in news, entertainment, and heartwarming reunions like this one.
