The BBC has announced a new season of factual, arts, and classical music content for autumn and winter across BBC television and iPlayer. The line-up includes returning favourites like 'Sort Your Life Out' with Stacey Solomon and 'Race Across The World', alongside new documentaries and interview series.
Kate Phillips, BBC Director of Unscripted, said: 'I’ve been blown away by the sheer range, scale and quality of programming coming out of the Factual, Arts and Classical Music departments.' Highlights include 'The Real Mo Farah', 'Freddie’s Field Of Dreams', and the launch of 'Frozen Planet II'.
'Race Across The World' returns for a third series, now on BBC One. Five pairs will travel over 16,000 kilometres from Vancouver to St John’s, Newfoundland, without flights, phones, or credit cards, relying on strangers and travel skills to win £20,000. A celebrity version will also go into production later this year.
Louis Theroux’s new interview series will feature intimate access to stars including Stormzy, Dame Judi Dench, and Rita Ora. 'The Elon Musk Show' will explore the billionaire’s life through interviews with family and associates. Stacey Solomon returns for a third series of 'Sort Your Life Out' plus a Christmas crafting special.
